‘According to Mr. Method Man, because the FBI did an honest investigation, supervised by Attorney General Eric Holder, the two police officers reaped what they sowed?’

Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly made clear at the top of his show Thursday night that he believes “anarchists” and not “protesters” are responsible for the shooting of two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri late last night. But the host did find fault in the comments that rapper Method Man made about the situation on MSNBC earlier today.

“Anarchism is growing in America,” O’Reilly said. “Wherever controversial situations arise, these people show up looking for trouble, and they’re not always condemned,” he added, before playing a clip of the former Wu-Tang Clan member speaking to MSNBC’s Tamron Hall.

“I hate to say that FBI report kind of played into this and these things shouldn’t be happening, but you reap what you sow, in a sense,” Method Man said.

“According to Mr. Method Man, because the FBI did an honest investigation, supervised by Attorney General Eric Holder, the two police officers reaped what they sowed?” O’Reilly asked. “That kind of colossal ignorance drives violence and the NBC anchor sits there and says nothing? Good grief.”

Another possible reading of Method Man’s point is that it was the actions of the Ferguson Police Department — and not the Justice Department’s report exposing those actions — that helped inspire the shooting last night.
