Stewart Calls House Republicans the ‘Turd’ of Legislative Plumbing

CBS [video]: “Majority leader Mitch McConnell broke an impasse Wednesday. He put language to block President Obama’s executive action on immigration in a separate bill.”
STEWART: “Impasse broken. Do you know what? Maybe these guys are ready to govern.”
CNN [video]: “It’s effectively dead on arrival in the House right now. House Republicans are not giving in the way Senate Republicans did.”
STEWART: “And there we have it. This finally answers the question, where is the turd clogging our legislative plumbing? They’re called House Republicans. You know, everything was going to run smoothly if you had a Republican Senate that could work with the Republican House. They’re the Keith Olbermann of congresses.”
