James Clapper: More Terror Attacks and Deaths in 2014 than in the Last 45 Years

The Director of National Intelligence’s remarks are in complete contrast with what Secretary of State John Kerry said just 24 hours earlier

"When the final counting is done, 2014 will have been the most lethal year for global terrorism in the 45 years such a data has been compiled. About half of all attacks as well fatalities in 2014 occurred in just three countries: Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan. I'm drawing this data -- ISIL conducted more attacks than any other terrorist group in the first nine months of 2014."
