O’Rourke: Packing the Supreme Court Is ‘an Idea We Should Discuss’

I think it calls upon us to be creative about what some of the solutions are, otherwise we wouldn’t think about one of the proposals a gentleman just raised. What if there were five justices selected by Democrats five justices selected by Republicans, and those ten then picked five more judges as independent of those who chose the first ten. I think that’s an idea that we should explore. There's another idea of having term limits on those justices so there’s a more regular rotation through there. We’re a country of 320 million people, there’s got to be the talent and wisdom and the perspective and that court should be able to reflect the diversity that we are composed of in this country."
