Scarborough: My Mom Mary Jo Clarke Scarborough Passed Away This Weekend

SCARBOROUGH: "So my mom, Mary Jo Clarke Scarborough, passed away this weekend. I don’t really want to talk about it a whole lot right now, I will talk about it more later, but I just did want to say to all of those who have reached out and offered their condolences, we really appreciate it, the entire family does. And we thank you. Also more importantly, I personally want to thank all of the people over the past eight years that have helped my mom and stood by her side and loved her unconditionally as she struggled through her battle with dementia. It is, as everyone who has been through this and so many people go through this, it is excruciating and it is a terrible disease. But I can tell you that we’re thankful for all of those who cared for her and loved her for so long and I know they, as well as the family, are thankful that after a  7, 8-year battle with dementia that mom is finally at peace. So thank you so much and we'll be talking about it more later."
