CORTES: “I normally strenuously advocate for this administration on your show, but I’ll also admit when something is boneheaded and this clearly is. I’m somebody in the business of political messaging and a very good rule of thumb is don’t sound like Montgomery Burns from The Simpson and that really is who Wilbur Ross sounded like today. This is a really serious issue. A lot of people are hurting and they’re hurting terribly and not a little bit.”
