Sen. Harry Reid’s brother, Larry Reid, has gotten into serious trouble with the law, according to a report from KTNV, ABC’s Las Vegas affiliate.

Reid has been arrested for drunk driving, battery of a police officer, and possession of a gun while under the influence.

The 73 year old was arrested near Boulder City, Nevada.

“It is a private matter,” Senator Reid’s office said when asked about his brother’s arrest.
