CNN obtained transcripts revealing the internal debate between FBI officials over whether President Donald Trump fired FBI director James Comey for legitimate reasons — or if he was acting at the behest of Russia.

The New York Times reported the bombshell last week that the FBI opened an investigation after Trump fired Comey to determine whether the president was “working on behalf of Russia against American interests.”
