Tim Kaine to Trump: ‘Reopen Government and Then We’ll Find a Border Security and Immigration Deal’

‘Reopen government and then we’ll find a border security and immigration deal’

KAINE: “I believe the top priority of Congress right now should be to reopen government and quit punishing workers, citizens and hurting our country's reputation."
CAMEROTA: "I know that’s your top priority but you could still vote on other things?"
KAINE: "But why when we have the bill on the desk to reopen government, I do not think the majority should be able to — we don’t want to reopen government, we want the things that we want. So the right strategy is to reopen government and then we can find an immigration and border security deal and deal with the other business that’s before us."
