London Mayor: Jihadists Are ‘Porn-Obsessed’ Losers Who Can’t Get Girlfriends

NN HOST: "Boris Johnson says that young British men who aspire to be members of Islamic state, want to join the extremists because they feel like losers. In an interview with the Sun, Mr. Johnson reveals, 'If you look at all the psychological profiling about bombers, they typically will look at porn. They are rejected by women, they are not making it with girls, and so they turn to other forms of spiritual comfort, which of course is no comfort. They are just young men in desperate need of self-esteem who do not have a particular mission in life, who feel that they are losers and this things makes them feel strong and feel like winners.' Well, the Mayor of London has since told Sky News he believes the comments were uncontroversial."

JOHNSON: "Well, I think the -- there is a lot of issues here. Certainly, the young men who get involved in this kind of thing do have a lot of problems in their lives and there's no question they lack self-esteem and they lack boundaries and they feel like losers. They feel they are not the winners in the world. That's the issue and we need to address it."
