SCOTT: “We both know that you cannot reopen the government without the president’s authority and the Senate concurring, and the house joining on as well. So in the matter is once again, it reinforces the truth that today we find ourselves at a standstill, because Nancy Pelosi speakership is imperiled. Therefore we will have to wait until after the election. That does not make a lot of sense for the average American and it does not make sense on the border. If we are going to move this game forward, we are going to have to do so by focusing on what is in the best interest of the average person in this country and that is to have secure borders.”
