Swalwell on Mattis Exit: ‘We Have a White House in Crisis’

‘The experts who the president said he was going to hire and rely on the best, that they’re leaving’

RUSH EXCERPT:

SWALWELL: “We have a White House in crisis. Good evening, Erin. General Mattis, great respect for his military service, haven’t agreed with every decision of his. But he’s always been a force to restrict the president’s — intervene against the president’s worst instincts. Bob Woodward reported that the president wanted to assassinate bashar Al Assad, and he said sir, we can’t do that. So it’s just a fear that the adults in the room, the experts who the president said he was going to hire and rely on the best, that they’re leaving. That makes us less safe.”
