BAER: “Well, Fred, it’s worse than compromised. I find this outrageous that he would be on the phone with the man accused of killing Jamal Khashoggi. Weathering the storm, for me that translations to I will help you cover this up. At this point in diplomatic communications, they should revert to the State Department and there should be notes going back and forth written and an adviser should not be on the phone trying to comfort a man who probably is the who ordered the murder of an American columnist.
