In what Jimmy Kimmel called the “Most Disturbing Edition Ever” of Lie Witness News, wherein he asks people on the street ridiculous questions to expose their ignorance/willingness to say anything to get on TV, more than a dozen people reported to have seen Martin Luther King, Jr. give a speech yesterday. One interviewee went so far as to agree that MLK had really put on the pounds since his Civil Rights heyday: “You need to hit the treadmill.”

As always, YMMV on whether you believe any of these people were sincere, or simply going for their <15 seconds of television and that enabling them just encourages the exhibitionist culture which Kimmel claims to mock but is in fact a paid-up member of.
