Jackie Speier: Whitaker Is Not ‘Unbiased’ and Should Recuse Himself from the Mueller Probe

SPEIER: "Well, he’s also said that it was a Mueller lynch mob. I mean, this is not an independent, unbiased person who is supposed to be meting out justice here, but this is someone that has a very strong position. And I don't know that he would pass the test in the Senate. I also think that we should ask the Office of Government Ethics to do an evaluation as to whether or not he is appropriate to hold that position. He should recuse himself. He’s now saying he won’t, but we should demand that that evaluation be done."
