Mike Pence on Khashoggi: ‘We’re Going to Follow the Facts’ and ‘There Will Be Consequences’

PENCE: “I can assure you that we are going to follow the facts, and the Secretary of State received a commitment for a thorough and complete investigation by he Saudi government that will be completed in just a matter of few days. When we have that information, we won’t solely rely on that information, we'll collect all the evidence and then the President will have a decision to make about what the proper course of action is for us going forward. The world deserves answers. If what has been alleged occurred, if an innocent person lost their life at the hands of violence, that’s to be condemned. If a journalist, in particular, lost their life at the hands of violence, that’s an affront to the free and independent press around the world and there will be consequences.”
