Former Rep. David Jolly (R-FL) blasted the Republican Party for their support for Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Bill Maher began the conversation by talking the 2018 midterms and how the enthusiasm gap has shrunk between Democrats and Republicans and wondered why the Kavanaugh “circus” had such an impact.

Soledad O’Brien said it was a “brilliant” move by Republicans to depict Kavanaugh as an “aggrieved father” and shift away from arguments that make him unsuited for the Supreme Court. However, the harshest criticisms of the Republican Party came from the ex-Republican congressman.
