Bill Richardson: ‘Very Strange’ North Korea Resuming Provocative Behavior

‘Almost a month ago, the North Koreans were turning over three Americans in what I thought was a gesture of will’

"What they do is they try to scare, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the next step is an inflammatory missile caster. Hopefully not another nuclear cast. It’s very strange because almost a month ago, the North Koreans were turning over three Americans in what I thought was a gesture of good will and dialogue, but now they proceed with this hacking of Sony. They take these insults very personally of The Interview movie. It’s important to have freedom of the press, freedom of assembly and I think Sony has handled this well despite that early set back. But again, with North Korea -- they don't think like us, they don’t think like us. They are not a quid pro quo country, if we do this, you do that. They are in their own self isolation, cult of personality. Everything evolves around the leader Kim Jong-un, a cult of personality that affects every action they take."
