Conway Suggests Rosenstein Will Be Fired, Cites Comey, McCabe

‘I see a pattern here, perhaps’

EXCERPT:

FAULKNER: "Is the president going to fire Rod Rosenstein?"
CONWAY: "That’s up to the president, I've not heard that, and I also think yesterday was a terrible day for the media getting their information from Twitter, from leaky faulty leaky sources, people who could not possibly have known what was going on. He’s on the job today, he was on the job yesterday. The president wants to meet him in person on Thursday. Let me say this: The Department of Justice, as run by the last administration, or some of those holdovers  was rotten to the core at the tippy-top of the FBI. Especially when it came from trying to put their thumb on the scales to get Hillary Clinton elected. Comey, McCabe, Srtzok, Page -- this is important because — I -- I -- I see a pattern here, perhaps. You have Jim Comey fired from the FBI had taken notes, got a book deal and leaked some of those notes to the media. You have Andy McCabe got fired, the number two the FBI guy got fired had some notes, got a book deal, started to leaking notes to the media."
