Just in time for Festivus, Jerry Seinfeld visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and delivered a tight five-minute set about the massive amount of stuff we humans collect over a lifetime.

“This is the problem, there’s too many things,” Seinfeld began. “You have things, I have things, holiday time, there’s going to be a lot more things.”

“All things on Earth only exist in different stages of becoming garbage,” he added, setting up his main premise. “Your home is a garbage processing center.” This led to an observation that the word “garage seems to be a form of the word garbage” and ended with the realization that even “we are thrown out in the end.”
