Chaffetz Slams Sessions: He’s the Attorney General ‘in Name Only’

‘One of the worst experiences I had in my eight and a half years in Congress, chairman of the oversight committee, was meeting with Jeff Sessions’

RUSH EXCERPT:

CHAFFETZ: "And telling you, one of the worst experiences I had in my eight and a half years in Congress, chairman of the oversight committee, was meeting with Jeff Sessions. I think he’s an attorney general in name only. I was very disappointed. I went over and I explained to him that we had this person, twice he was issued a subpoena by Congress, twice he didn’t show up and we held him in contempt and he should have been prosecuted for nonattendance on the committee he looked me in the eye and told me I’m not going to do that because it’s too close to Hillary Clinton. And that is not equal justice under the law. And he did that time after time after time and it’s not just him. It is the bureaucracy of 110,000 people at the department of justice and that’s why I finally wrote a book about it because it’s chock-full from the EPA to the department of justice to the State Department. You name it."
