GIULIANI: "I think, you know, I subscribe to that. President Bush said it correctly a couple weeks later when he addressed Congress and the governor and I were invited to it, he said this is going to be a very long war because these people have maintained this extreme ideology for centuries. I’m not talking about all Muslims. I’m talking about the ones who do this who are, in my view, somewhat insane, although not excusably insane. They know what they’re doing. So, we’re going to have to fight it for a long time. And I think that — I think President Trump has done a really excellent job of keeping it contained about as well as going to keep it contained. I hate to say it because I’m not superstitious — but I guess maybe I am — I hate to say it, but we were pretty darn safe the last year or two."
