John Brennan Rips GOP for Missing ‘Spines’: ‘There Needs to Be Some Reckoning in the Republican Party’ (Mediaite)
Former CIA Director John Brennan not only stood by his comments about President Donald Trump‘s “treasonous” actions with Bill Mahertonight, but he also called out Republicans for not standing up to Trump more.
Maher offered Brennan some praise for being willing to say Trump’s committed treason, and said, “He takes their side and not ours! That’s a traitor! He calls you a lowlife! You who spent your life defending this country, especially after 9/11!”
Brennan said he didn’t want to be speaking out like this after leaving D.C., but this is a very “abnormal” time in the country.
