O’Reilly, Russell Simmons Clash on Black Crime: ‘You Are So Desperately Wrong’ (Mediaite)

Bill O’Reilly tonight confronted hip hop mogul Russell Simmons over comments he made about Michael Brown and Eric Garner. He corrected Simmons on a stat he threw out about grand juries before confronting him on an issue O’Reilly believes Simmons has been ignoring.

“You are not acknowledging,” O’Reilly said, “astronomical crime rate among black men.” Simmons invoked the War on Drugs to argue it as one of the biggest problems within the black community, since plenty of African-Americans have their lives ruined for non-violent first-time offenses.
