JOHNSON: "Because of our demand for drugs public institutions have been destroyed. They were destroyed prior to 2012. We were having 4,000 kids on average coming in from central America. Now the average is well over 30,000, more than 200,000 since 2012. It is a strong correlation to indicate causation, as well. Again, there are many causes of this. Part of it is our insatiable demand for drugs. One reason is because drugs are flowing over the unsecured border. We have to secure the border. President Trump is trying to grapple with that reality. Unlike President Obama who instituted a catch and release program."
