VON SPAKOVSKY: "In fact, every one of these individuals should be fired and should have been fired the moment that report came out. The fact that they haven’t been tells me the head of the F.B.I. still doesn’t take this as seriously as he should. And remember, this was the biggest, most sensitive investigation the F.B.I. was doing, everyone knew that. You would think that the agents they would assign to it, they'd be very careful to make sure they are objective and not partisan, and yet they didn’t. And none of these agents feel any kind of embarrassment or fear that their supervisors, that the leadership at the F.B.I. would be somehow upset about the messages they were giving. That tells you that this problem went from the agents all the way up into the leadership."
