Dermer Continues To Be Diplomatic About Netanyahu’s Relationship with Obama

‘I don’t really see that there’s much gaps between us and the administration over issues like this’

"I don’t really see there is much gaps between us and the administration over issues like this. You saw a very strong condemnation from Secretary Kerry yesterday. The president was very clear in his condemnation of this action, so I don’t think there is any differences of opinion. I think there is a problem in Europe. There is a serious problem. Just today, you had another country, in this case Spain, that voted to give the Palestinians a state and to recognize a Palestinian state. Now remember, the president of the Palestinian authority is sitting in a government with a bunch of terrorists, with a Hamas held organization. Now, you are rewarding him the day after these actions happen that are celebrated both by his party and Hamas. You are rewarding him by giving him a state. that sends the wrong message. The message that needs to be sent not just by the United States, but all your European allies, has to be to President Abbas, 'End you pact with Hamas. Don’t sit with a terror organization. Stop the incitement and move towards the peace with Israel."
