MSNBC Comes to Admin’s Defense with ‘Obama Slams Gruber’ Headline

‘Former, current White House people are not holding back the punches as it relates to Gruber’

HALL: "And former advisor David Axelrod put it this way, tweeting: 'As one who worked hard to make ASA and its benefits clear, let me say: of you looked up 'stupid' in the dictionary, you'd find Gruber's picture.' NBC's senior White House correspondent Chris Jansing joins me now. Former, current, White House people are not holding back the punches as it relates to Gruber, Chris, as you well know."

JANSING: "Yes, not just the president, Tamron, because they have made it very clear that they're going to defend the ACA better known as ObamaCare. And in fact professor Gruber last week on MSNBC speaking to Ronan Farrow backpedalled on the comments he made which has not stopped a lot of Republicans from using those comments as fuel. They really want to get votes going to repeal all or parts of ObamaCare. But the president has said he's essentially been there and done that."
