Rove: People Are Feeling Pretty Good About Their Personal Circumstances and that Helps the GOP in the Fall

‘There is disgust with the democratic establishment, just like disgust with the Republicans on their establishment’

EXCERPT:

ROVE: "I think that's probably why we have seen the generic ballot close. A couple of challenges for the Republicans, though. One is that they were talking about the tax cuts and now we are talking about anything but the tax cuts. They need the help of the White House in keeping the focus on the tax cuts. The economy, if it remains like it is today, we have people feeling pretty good about their personal circumstances and pretty good about the economy and the direction of the country. That would be enormously helpful for the Republican. But one of the wild cards is going to be, yeah, there is progress on North Korea. What happens after June 12 and what happens in the five months after that with regard to international affairs, Iran and Russia and China and North Korea?"
