Van Jones Praises ABC For Firing ‘Rank Bigot’ Roseanne: ‘Some Things Apparently Are More Important Than Money’ (Mediaite)

CNN’s Van Jones said this afternoon he was surprised that ABC was so quick to condemn Roseanne Barr today.

Roseanne returned to ABC this year after two decades off the air, but only a few hours after Barr’s racist tweet about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett today, the network cancelled it, even though they had ordered a second season for the revival already.

Jones called into CNN and told Brooke Baldwin, “Some things apparently are more important than money, even to a big corporation like ABC-Disney, and that is very heartening.”
