Clapper on Whether There Were Multiple FBI Informants: ‘There Could Have Been’

‘I wasn’t aware of the first one nor should I have been’

EXCERPT:

TAPPER: "Were there other individuals poking and prodding members of the Trump team, trying to find out if they were getting e-mails or other information from the Russians?”
CLAPPER: “Well, there could have been. I don’t know what this is about and I don’t — I don't actually know what Mr. Caputo was referring to by this presumed — I mean, the inference I drew from that was there was another informant from some other part of the federal government. I’m not aware of that.”
