Christian Whiton: Schumer, Hillary and Kerry Are ‘Rooting’ for America to Fail Ahead of the Mid Terms
EXCERPT:
WHITON: "That’s right. It’s one thing — no one is saying they can't have their opinion, but saying that we should have our ambassadors expelled, that’s customarily something you do right before you go to war. We’re not applying sanctions on Europe. We’re applying sanctions on Iran and on Iran's central bank and on Iran's oil industry. So, as our ambassador to Germany pointed out, if you don’t want to run afoul of these, just don’t do business with Iran. That is the point, is to return to the tough sanctions that existed before this lousy deal was enacted, just going back to that. And as far as this op-ed, thankfully I think Europe will ignore it, but it's part of this pattern. You mentioned Hillary and John Kerry. I would also add Chuck Schumer refusing to confirm officials unless there's a fight now over every little ambassador. It’s part of just this resistance to the 2016 election outcome and part of basically rooting for the United States to fail for partisan purposes going into the midterms."
