CHRIS MATTHEWS, MSNBC: We always hope that a new president, and if it's Hillary Clinton next time around, we'd like to see if she wins, to come in with a mandate. Most people say better to govern than not be able to govern. That's an objective statement. And one of the goals of the Republican campaign committee this time was to build up enough padding that even if she won the nomination next time, even if came in with a decent majority, that she would not bring the House with her and not be able to govern. This is an amazingly negative goal, by the way. Let's undermine her before she comes in. We're going to see if they get up to 240 or something or 245 where their real goal was. It's going to be real trouble for her. But as was argued earlier by Steve Israel, they still have a potential to win it all back in two years.
