ABC’s The View on Tuesday did what they had to do and responded to conservative pundit Ben Stein‘s recent divination that President Obama is “the most racist president there has ever been.”

“I’m so sick of people just grabbing crap out of the air,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, claiming that both whites and blacks have racialized Obama’s presidency. “Stop that Ben, you’re smarter than that.”

Co-host Rosie O’Donnell pointed a finger at Fox News, where Stein originally made the charge.

“It was on Fox News,” O’Donnell said, “which I think just likes to incite a lot of hate and is not always factually correct.”

It’s worth noting that Stein is also a contributor to CBS News.
