Marc Thiessen: Conor Lamb Can Win Because He’s a ‘Political Unicorn’

THIESSEN: "Absolutely. And it’s a conservative district. But I agree completely with Larry that Conor lamb has a chance to win. The reason he has a chance to win because is he a political unicorn. Is he a pro-life, progun, pro-fracking, anti-pelosi Democrat which means he is basically to voters a Republican. And this is, you know, this is not something that — if Democrats were to replicate this all over the country and put up a bunch of pro-life, progun, pro-fracking Democrats in middle of America they would win a lot of elections. They are not going to do that. You can see that in the case of Illinois recently where the DNC refused to endorse a seven-term incumbent democratic congressman named Dan LE pen ski for the simple reason is he pro-life. The head of the DNC recently said refused to say whether or not weather pro-life Democrats were welcome in his party. If Democrats wanted to replicate this, I would be worried but they are not."
