MSNBC Guest Slams Bush Official for Critiquing Ebola Response: Your White House Had Katrina! (Mediaite)

Former Bush administration communications director Nicolle Wallace (now of The View) critiqued the Obama administration’s response to the several cases of ebola in the Dallas area, earning the inevitable comeback that will haunt her til the end of days.

“In my White House we had plans on the shelf for bird flu,” she said. “Avian flu is less contagious, less fatal [than ebola].”

“In your White House Katrina happened also,” (former Obama admin official) Steve Rattner replied.

Wallace pointed out that the Bush administration at least had a point person on Katrina, as so many have been calling for in response to ebola, teeing up Rattner for a “Heckuva job, Brownie!” reference. Good times!
