Guy Benson on Kushner Security Downgrade: ‘It’s a Significant Deal Because He Is So Close to the President’

BENSON: "I think it’s a significant deal because he is so close to the President obviously as his son-in-law and he has had his security clearance downgraded. I don't think you can spin that away as a total nothing burger or non-story. But how that affects his day-to-day I’m not really sure. I looked at some of the reporting on this and the reporting suggests there were a number of countries that were seeking to manipulate or influence Kushner because of his relationship with the President. That shouldn’t come as a surprise. He has the ear of the President. He is related to the President. Did he act on any of that manipulation? Was he open potentially to blackmail or some sort of coercive manipulation? We don’t have the answers to that."
