Denver Post Moderator Refers to Senator Mark Udall as ‘Mark Uterus’

‘Your campaign has been so focused on women’s issues that you’ve been dubbed “Mark Uterus” ...’

Colorado U.S. Senate candidates go hard at each other in Denver Post debate (Denver Post)

One month before Election Day, Colorado's candidates for U.S. Senate sparred in a scrappy debate Tuesday as they returned to familiar refrains on President Barack Obama's policies and abortion.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Udall and Republican U.S. Rep. Cory Gardner spent much of the hour-long Denver Post debate dodging questions and blurring each other's record on a litany of issues.

Udall emphasized Gardner's past support for state-level personhood efforts, which would have banned some forms of birth control, while Gardner recited how Udall's votes aligned with Obama's views 99 percent of the time.
