Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta questioned whether President Obama will learn from his mistakes and use that experience to develop a strategy to combat the Islamic State.

During an interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly on Tuesday, Panetta touted his new book, “Worthy Fights,” and underscored his concern about current American leadership.

When asked if he ever heard Obama admit to making a mistake Panetta said, “I have heard him admit to mistakes.”

“The real question is whether or not you learn from those things and then do the right thing,” Panetta added.

Panetta is facing heat from the Obama administration and the media for criticizing the president while he is still in office.
