Mark Meadows: ‘No One that Puts Their Name out There to Serve This Country Is Un-American’

‘You make great sacrifices to serve your country’

EXCERPT:

MEADOWS: "Well, obviously, I think no one that puts their name out there to serve this country is unAmerican. I mean --"
BLITZER: "Right."
MEADOWS: "-- to go through what all we have to go through, you know, whether -- whether you love us or hate us, and most of that's on the hate side of it, but you make great sacrifices to serve your country. And yet, at the same time, when we saw people up in the gallery where you have law enforcement officers and you have military men and women, you have people who had lost their loved ones -- we’ve got to come together at least on those kind of issues to applaud the heroic effort to many of those folks. And I think we can do that, but -- but certainly saying that someone is unAmerican because of their unwillingness to clap is -- is not something that -- that most Americans would agree with."
BLITZER: "Yeah, I think you're totally right on that."
