Bre Payton: Media Minimizing GOP FISA Abuse Memo Because It Doesn’t Fit Their Narrative of Russia or Comey

Just a little bit ago, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer melted down on camera and said he didn’t want to discuss the contents of the memo with the Republican congressman who he was interviewing because he said the content was the memo was too political. CNN’s Phil Mudd said this memo would drop like a lead balloon and it was a gift to Democrats, which is silly. We’ll continue to see this type of coverage and the minimalization of the memo and deciding to cover other stories over this memo because it doesn’t fit their narrative about Mueller, doesn’t fit their narrative about the Russia investigation or fit their narrative about James Comey who they say is this wonderful, honest, boy scout, which makes me laugh. I’m old enough to remember when the media didn’t like Comey when he said bad things about Hillary."
