Meghan McCain Defends S.E. Cupp in Kimmel Spat: There Are ‘Valid’ New Questions for Monica Lewinsky

‘I would have new questions for Monica Lewinsky at this moment, and I think that’s valid’

Meghan McCain Defends S.E. Cupp in Kimmel Spat: There Are ‘Valid’ New Questions for Monica Lewinsky (Mediaite)

Meghan McCain defended S.E. Cupp on Wednesday in light of the brewing feud between the conservative commentator and Jimmy Kimmel.

Cupp appeared on The View last week to talk about the ABC funnyman’s plan to interview porn star Stormy Daniels last night. Everyone knew that Kimmel was going to ask Daniels about her alleged affair with President Trump, and Cupp wanted to know when Kimmel was going to interview Monica Lewinsky about her ordeal with Bill Clinton.

Cupp and Kimmel ended up exchanging fire after he opened his Tuesday night show by noting that he’s interviewed Lewinsky three times in the past. As The View reacted to this emerging fight today, Meghan McCain defended Cupp by saying what she meant was that it would be worth talking with Lewinsky again while the #MeToo movement is in full swing.
