Dallas Hospital Mistakenly Released Ebola Patient for Three Days (Mediaite)

Thomas Duncan, the Dallas patient with the first official case of ebola in the United States, was mistakenly released from that Dallas hospital and was out and about for three days before going back and being admitted.

Yes, random people could have come in contact with a man carrying ebola because of a hospital communication.

CNN’s Erin Burnett broke the news tonight, explaining that Duncan had told the hospital he had been to West Africa, but doctors sent him on his way after giving his some treatment. And so, there are some obvious concerns over who he came in contact with over that period of time.

Duncan returned to the hospital two days later and explained his symptoms. They tested him, put him in isolation, and realized he had ebola.
