WELKER: “What was his {President’s] reaction when he learned that a man with a gun, who had a criminal history, was on an elevator with him in Atlanta? What was his reaction to that and when did he find out?”

PALMIE: “I’m not — I’m not gonna — this is — I’m not gonna get into, uh, uh, how he is, um, um, how he’s briefed on his, uh, his security, that Director Pierson —“

WELKER: “When did he find out about that, Jen?”

PALMIE: “I’m not going to get into, you now , we have reasons, um, in wanting to, um, protect the president’s own, um, um, ability to talk with the, um, talk confidentially with his, um, with the Secret Service.—“
