Christie Slams Obama: Take Some Responsibility for ISIS Intel Failure (Mediaite)

Chris Christie spoke with CNN’s Dana Bash today and slammed President Obama for not taking any sort of personal responsibility for intel failures on ISIS, preferring to say “they” underestimated ISIS as opposed to “we.”

Christie said he was very “disturbed” by Obama saying that because the Commander-in-Chief should be willing to hold himself accountable.

He said, “If I think the president’s doing something well, I don’t hesitate to say that he is, but I think the jury’s still out on this because I don’t think we should be in this position to begin with.”

After showing the clip to Wolf Blitzer, Bash couldn’t help but point out this sounds an awful lot like a 2016 candidate with very little in the way of a foreign policy resume jumping in the debate.
