Kevin McCarthy on Tax Cuts: $1000 Are Not Crumbs

McCARTHY: "If you have the largest economy in the world, I think we have a real say on where the world goes. I think America coming back with 3 percent growth is huge. I think that does change the world. From the other perspective we’re looking at, from the regulatory world they look at, too, that’s what I hear a lot. The market, the others, the money, all those bonuses, I mean, I know some people say thank crumbs. No, $1,000 to anybody, to me or to a constituent, that’s a lot of money. That’s changing. People come up to me and say, 'Oh, my gosh, I got a raise.' It’s because of the withholding limits they're actually getting more money in their paycheck."
