Jonah Goldberg: Richard Painter and Norm Eisen Have Been on a ‘Jihad’ for Quite a While About Trump

GOLDBERG: "Richard Painter and the other ethics guy, they’ve been sort of on a jihad for quite a while now about Donald Trump. They’re all bought in. There are people on the the left and people on the right that are at 11 on a 10 point scale on either the Mueller investigation or all the Strzok-Page texts and all that stuff. And I’m sort of stuck in the middle, I'm a wait and see guy. We’ll see where the facts go. We’ll see what Donald Trump says when he does speak to Mueller. We’ll see what Mueller presents. The problem still for Donald Trump is even if he’s at most disciplined, and he has been in some depositions, he still doesn’t know what Mueller knows. So there are lots of questions that Mueller can ask that could just put Donald Trump in a precarious situation if he doesn’t know what other people have testified to, what other facts that Mueller has."
