Rhode Island Gubernatorial Hopeful Takes Weed Pipe Hit in Campaign Ad

‘Something that’s been essential to our health has been taken away from us’

Candidate for Rhode Island Governor Takes Weed Pipe Hit in Campaign Ad (Mediaite)

Anne Armstrong is running as a write-in candidate for governor of Rhode Island and her entire platform is based on legalizing marijuana.

Armstrong is both a cannabis provider and patient, saying in a new campaign video that she uses it “every day.”

She says she uses it for help with a “physical condition” as well as a dietary supplement that helps her “focus” and “facilitate communication.”

“We’ve been lied to a long time by our government,” Armstrong says in the ad. “And something that’s been essential to our health has been taken away from us.”

At the end of the hit, Armstrong smiles and takes a hit– from a weed pipe.
