Marsha Blackburn: My Constituents Don’t Want the FBI To Be a Political Agency

‘Well it does feel like a rudderless ship’

EXCERPT:

PAYNE: "Now, to the FBI, Corey Lewandoski and Steve Bannon will testify to the House Intel Committee. Meanwhile Deputy Director Andy McCabe close to retirement. Tennessee Congressman Marsha Blackburn joins us now. Congressman, so what's the next step here with respect to where we are with the FBI investigation? Because it feels like a rudderless ship right now?"
BLACKBURN: "Well it does feel like a rudderless ship. But I think what we know both the House and Senate Intel Committees and the House Government Oversight Committee are investigating. And I know Chairman Gowdy and Chairman Nunes are going to do their job and work through this process. I think the American people, Charles, really feel like there is so much political bias in the FBI, that emails and texts and the comments that are coming out, looking for a quote, unquote, 'insurance policy', just in case Trump won, using their positions to support Hillary Clinton. Those are the things that concern my constituents here in Tennessee. And they want to get to the bottom of this they do not want the FBI to be a political agency."
