FOWLER: "I think there’s an opportunity for Democrats and Republicans to work together on this, but I think it's going to require that both parties stop the search for a moral high ground. I think you have Kirsten Gillibrand on the left looking for a moral high ground. I think you have members on the right looking for a moral high ground. But let’s be real, Dana, there is no moral high ground. Because on both sides of the aisle, whether Democrats or the Republicans, there is misogyny, there is racism, there is a homophobia, they exist on both sides. So this idea of a high ground is a mirage. And so we’ve got to stop looking for the moral high ground and come together and figure out how we actually solve the #MeToo campaign, how do we come to a real solution."
